The well at La Giraudiere was found after the storm of  2000 whilst clearing the debris. We are trying to date it. If you can help then please contact us with any information you may have as to it;s origine or structure. If you are intrested in restauring this fine old well then why not consider our work abroad program and come to La Giraudiere and add your skills to our project.

The old well situated in the park on the La Giraudiere estate in Brossac. The well and the trees provide some welcomed shade in the heat of a charente summer.
The well's stone work is scheduled to be restored during 2009
