Volunteering<\/a> or Interning<\/a> at La Giraudiere\u00a0explores a variety of work activities three days of the week. Find out what you can contribute as a volunteer or what you can learn as an intern when you come and visit the Southwest of France.<\/p>\n

\"Grounds,<\/a>

At 2.5 hecters, or approximately 6.2 acres, The grounds at La Giraudiere is\u00a0a mix of rolling topography\u00a0and\u00a0a small forest, grassy areas, two rockery court yards (front and back), and\u00a0many lovely flowers and bushes. In addition, you will find a restored two story maison de ma\u00eetre, or masters house, built in the 1700 along with\u00a0a 1904 addition.<\/p>\n

While\u00a0the grounds and maison are delightful, there is certainly always something\u00a0to be done to further develop, beautify, maintain, and promote this non for profit cultural Immersion center<\/a>, where learning, work, and adventure mingle together\u00a0as easily as cultures, ages, genders, and demographics.<\/p>\n

So, what lies on the other side of\u00a0those four free days of excursions into Bordeaux<\/a>, the beach, and elsewhere… that\u00a0much needed balance of work at La Giraudiere, or\u00a0the other 3 days of\u00a0the week.<\/p>\n
