To elaborate on this rather cryptic post,\u00a0the team spent Saturday exploring the region: Karen and John took in the sights and shops of Chalais, while Zach and Katherine headed off to Angoul\u00eame, city of “bandes dessin\u00e9es,” or comic-style artwork (more on the new arrivals coming\u00a0soon to a screen near you). \u00a0They had a great time attempting to translate\u00a0the information about the artwork in the “mus\u00e9e de la bande dessin\u00e9e” into English and exploring the hilly environs of the city, where they happened upon\u00a0a small\u00a0park inabited by\u00a0two gigantic sculptures of hands. \u00a0Upon their return to Chalais, Paul took Zach and Katherine to the lovely O P’tit En K restaurant, where they had the best chips and black olive pizza in the department of Charente.<\/p>\n
