Erasmus+ now at La Giraudiere<\/span><\/h1>\n

After two years of preparing our application which started in 2015 La Giraudiere is now an official accredited receiving and organising Erasmus agency for the European Commision’s life long learning program known as Erasmus Plus, or Erasmus+.<\/p>\n

2017 marks 30 years of Erasmus+. The original Erasmus programme began in 1987 as an exchange programme giving higher education students a taste of life and learning abroad. You can read more about the anniversary on the European Commission\u2019s dedicated Erasmus+ 30 webpage<\/a>,\u00a0including a video.<\/p>\n

In the ensuing thirty years, Erasmus grew and has developed into something much bigger, which is reflected in the addition of the \u2018+\u2019 in 2014 to create Erasmus+ .<\/p>\n

Today, Erasmus+ funds thousands of opportunities a year, for students, staff, teachers, apprentices and young people, from across education, training, youth and sport. Projects cover a huge range of topics and the programme now extends beyond Europe with initiatives like International Credit Mobility.<\/p>\n

La Giraudiere as prepared its first project under this program called\u00a0\u00a0“Young Entrepreneurs Rejuvenate Rural France” – Acronym : YERRF<\/p>\n
