<\/a>Yesterday evening, La Giraudi\u00e8re’s volunteers had a group outing into Brossac for a traditional French game of boules with the local people.<\/p>\nOur new Scottish volunteer, John, was particularly skilled at this sport and he made a big contribution to his winning team.<\/p>\n
John is returning to La Giraudi\u00e8re this year after a four week visit last summer…I suspect his talent for boules can be explained in part by his previous experience!<\/p>\n

The boys taught our volunteers the best technique for playing p\u00e9tanque, as well as helping us with our French.
