Lewis, a 20 year old student from Bourne,\u00a0UK chose to spend three weeks volunteering at La Giraudiere. Lewis is studying international management and French at the University of Bath.<\/p>\n

Lewis’ stay was shortened due to a problem concerning his health.\u00a0Only two days after his arrival, he\u00a0had to see our local doctor. At the end, Lewis preferred to shorten his stay here and return to UK to care after his condition, before going back to university at the end of September.<\/p>\n

During his\u00a0few days at La Giraudi\u00e8re,\u00a0Lewis made a big impression on the group and helped with the translation of letters and researching for the project YERRF.<\/p>\n

Lewis, fortunately, had a\u00a0good travel insurance which will hopefully pay for his doctor’s visit, medication, additional travel costs and the volunteering fees.<\/p>\n

Never forget that it is very important to have a good travel insurance, if\u00a0you are planning to be part of a volunteering project.<\/p>\n
