Irish Volunteers on Vacation in France

Two volunteers from Irland decided to have a different vacation in France!

Dimpna Mc Kearney and her friend Chrissie arrived to La Giraudière and they stayed as volunteers for two weeks in France.

Their amazing humor bring a lots of fun in La Guiraudière. They share a lot of their culture and costumes and they took the chance to travel for the South of France. 

Chissie was helping with the housekeeping and, as well as Dympa, improved their French with the  French classes and managed the kitchen.

In La Giraudière, Dympna used her accounting skills to help in the office’s work, took French classes and prepared lovely Irish meals. It is not the first time that Dympna and Chrissie visited France, but it was the first time they volunteered themselves during a vacations season.

Le bénévole anglais finit le congé sabbatique à La Giraudière

La Giraudière reçoit un autre bénévole

Benjamin, un bénévol de 19 ans, venant de Londre, Royaume-Uni, il a décidé de passer les dernières deux semaines de son année sabbatique à La Giraudière. Benjamin est retourné la semaine passée pour commencer le premier année de l’université et étudier psychologie.

Au cours de son séjour à La Giraudière, Benjamin, a aidé avec gestion de la maison et du jardin. Il a contribué aussi au projet YERRF, en dirigeant notre deuxième vidéo.

London’s volunteer finish is gap year at La Giraudière

London volunteer ends Gap Year in France

Benjamin, a 19-year old volunteer, coming from London, United Kingdom, decided to spend the last two weeks of his gap year at La Giraudière.

Benjamin bring so much joy to the house. He was able to fulfill his expectations of meeting new people, being in touch with different cultures, and learning more about the language and France itself.

For him, being at the La Giraudière, was quite a experience!

During his stay at La Giraudière, Benjamin, had helped with the maintenance of the house. He also contributed to the YERRF entrepreneurship project, by directing our second video.

Benjamin finished is gap year and volunteering experience and went back to start his first year of university in Birmingham and study psychology.

Le site de Yerrf est renouvelé

Site du projet entrepreneurial YERRF, en France

On a ajouté deux pages au website du YERRF. Le projet avance à mesure que de nouvelles pages d’indice et de médias sociaux sont ajoutées. La nouvelle page indice décrit le projet, l’échelle des objectifs et des temps. Il y a aussi des liens vers la section des articles et des détails sur comme l’entrepreneuriat est sur le point d’être dans le programme de l’école.

YERRF website gets update

YERRF Entrepreneurial Project website live in France

Two more pages are added to the YERRF website. The project advance as new index and social media pages are added. The new index page describes the project, its goals and times scale. There are also links to the articles section and some details about how entrepreneurship is about to be on the school program/curriculum.
