BUILDING CONSTRUCTION RESTORATIONLA GRANGE ~ Apartment 4 Ground
Floor called La Grange because formally it was a section of
the barn of La Giraudiere.
This apartment will have 1 bedroom, a bathroom with wc and a living room/kitchen. The apartment will be equipped so has to be handicapped friendly. Presently the main structure is in place with drainage and connections to the fosse septique tank. Aiming to finish the handicap freindly bathroom this year.  LA BELLE VUE ~
Apartment 4 The first floor
called La Belle Vue because of it's balcony which over looks the
valley. This apartment was FIRST OCCUPIED IN 2011 and is now used but
there are still some painting and finishing jobs required.LA GIRAUDIERE ~ The Old house Eventually
this will be the principal building
for La Giraudiere and it will have 5 on-suite bedrooms, office,
washerteria, linen room upon the first floor. The ground floor will
have a two wash rooms one of which will be handicap friendly, a
professional Kitchen, two main function rooms one of which will be the
main dinning room the other will be a reception/bar.
This year I would like to advance the ground floor.  The main structure is in place including the drainage, much of the original building has been kept including windows and doors wherever possible. All tradesmen could be used at La Giraudiere have you been thinking of working abroad then this could be your chance to test the water before you dive as it were. Maybe you have been thinking of registering in France well come along and I will tell you about the pitfalls, the charges but also the advantages. Interested in building and want to learn then come along. As long as you have a willingness to learn plus your are a motivated person then you could pick up some useful skills. |
