The principle project for the volunteers and interns this year is the creation of a website called Brossac Braderie and the seting up and orgainsing a brocante at La GIraudiere.

To help our volunteers become more confident with using the French language and for some using the English language we are lucky to have two local qualified teachers who come along each week and prepare lessons for our volunteers.

Presently we have two volunteers, amoung our group of seven, learning and improving their English at La Giraudiere. Firstly we have Maire who is French and is participating on a SNU program, which is Service National Universal, and needs to complete a twelve day volunteering program whilst learning English.

Secoundly we have Polina who is from Moscow and is here volunteering and also aiming to improve her English. Alison who lives in the neibouring village of Bardenac is a qualified TFEL teacher the TFEL standing for teaching English as a foreign language.

The scheduled brocante will present a great opportunity for our foreign volunteers to learn and improve their English as we are hoping to see many tourists visit our Brocante on this weekend.
