Volunteer abroad is a truly unique experience and especially if you dare try to step out of your comfort zone and change the scenery totally. Make your volunteer abroad experience one to remember a holiday with a difference. Once you have decided that a volunteering holiday abroad is for you then here are some things you should consider.
If you live in a town or city then choose a place that is rural or a little isolated. Choose somewhere that speaks a different language than that of where you live. Be prepared for a culture shock be open minded and forget how things are done back home
During your volunteering abroad experience try to meet as many different nationalities as possible. Try to learn some new skills. Maybe you have some skills that you could pass onto the other volunteers. You should look to Learn, or at least improve, your knowledge of a foreign Language.

The recommended volunteering period is 3 weeks but you can apply for any length of stay during the 2024 program.
