Why study abroad when you can live and STUDY abroad, what better way to study than to actually go and live there and STUDY there and Learn.
We want people all all ages and backgrounds to come and make up a group or team from which we can all learn together
Upon completion of the first stage, La Giraudiere will accommodate 40+ persons and will have a bar, restaurant and leisure facilities. Presently we have 3 apartments or gites complete which would be the accommodation for the group.
Anyone over the age of 18 years who can prove that they can help make La Giraudiere come to life. Practical, clerical, and whatever trade or skill you have if you think you could contribute towards this scheme then come and help us.
I am not worried about Age students come and bring some new life into La Giraudiere Over 50 come and contribute your experience to La Giraudiere and pass your skills onto the students

APPLY?
It could

you may be thinking of, what you would like to learn and we will
consider your application
WHAT
IF I ONLY WANT TO WORK TWO DAYS A WEEK?
It is
simple and the
whole scheme is very flexible. To stay in the south west France region
with accommodation and full board would normally start at about 60
euros per day. So ok La Giraudiere estate is not finished but the
accommodation is finished and very comfortable and three meals a day
will be served. So if you would prefer to work 2 days and have 5 off
then you pay the additional 60 euros so your week would cost 150 euros
and you would have the 5 days off. Great work the week-end and have the
week off 5 days to explore France and this fabulous region.
Full bed and Board in South West France for 90 euros per week plus 3 days of your time doing or applying your skill towards a project that will be here for the rest of your life for you to visit time and time again.
WHY
ARE WE MAKING THIS OFFER?
La Giraudiere is
only
40% complete and there is still a lot of work needed to be done. Apart
from the
construction work there
is also the marketing of the
project which again as started but needs further attention and
ideas. There is also the day to day running of La Giraudiere Shopping etc.

The battle with the French Authorities and the administration as been long and exhausting both on myself and the finances of the project.
Marketing of La Giraudiere has started in preparation for when the project is finished. Currently we have ideas for golf tours and summer camps and groups like schools etc.

Then this has got to be a great opportunity for you to test the water before you dive. Come and see if you could hack it living in another country. Presently I have 3 apartments which amounts to 8 bedrooms so any number from 1 to 8 more if you are willing to share a bedroom can be accommodated at any one time. There are 3 showers and wash rooms one in each of the apartments and there are 3 kitchens. The whole complex is situated in a two and half acre park so plenty of space to chill out.
WHERE
IS LA GIRAUDIERE?
1 km from
the village
Brossac and Brossac is within the Charente department which is in South
West France. The nearest Route National is 18km away and is
the
RN10 the nearest town is 10 km and that is Chalais where there is also
a train station. The nearest TGV station is Angouleme which is the
capital of Charente. The nearest airports are Bordeaux, Angouleme,
Bergerac, La Rochelle and Royan.
