A380 ENTERS THE ATLANTIC

south is the calm of the Mediterranean sea. France boarders with eight other European countries cross the Pyrenees and you are in Spain cross the alps and you are in Switzerland. Within this section of our website we have attempted to provide by way of images a taste of the splendor of France Your feed back, comments or pictures would be appreciated.

There is a frigate under construction here in south west France located at Rochfort Frigate France You can read about it's connection with the USA	Chalais Chateaux sits proudly above the ville of Chalais we would appreciate your input if you have further information regarding the history of the CHALAIS CHATEAUX CHARENTE
The Charente is in probability the garden of France with it's rolling hills and pleasant climate. The soil produces all types of harvests probably known for it's grape which goes to make the famous cognac. CHARENTE COUNTRY SIDE	The chateaux at Brossac is undergoing major restauration work after spending year as a run down night club known as Paradise. The chateaux will be providing the settings for marriages and so forth once the works are completed. BROSSAC CHATEAUX CHARENTE
The Charente is blessed with sunshine hours and second only to the south of France. The clement climate produces a rich Garden of Europe and one of it's major crops are the sun flowers of the Charente SUN FLOWERS IN CHARENTE	Another rich harvest of the Charente are it's grapes known for the production of the world famous cognac and the less famous drink of the region Pineau. Pineau de la Charente is an apertiff and is available in red or white GRAPES FOR COGNAC
The largest sand dune in Europe is situated 10km south of Archachon on the Atlantic coastline in south west France DUNE DE PYLA	The PASSIRAC CHATEAUX is situated 4 km from La Giraudiere but unfortunately we know little of it's history and we would appreciate any input that any of our visitors may have regarding this chateaux in CHARENTE
