TRAVEL MONEY
|
The most important
factor when traveling is your travel money.
How much
will I need? should I take my bank card? what about travelers cheques?
Will I need some foreign currency? These are the first thoughts when
considering how you will finance your
holiday or travels.
Try and think about your first few days What will
I have to pay? maybe a taxi, bus or train when I arrive or coffee at
the airport for
that I will need some foreign currency.
The when I get to where I am
staying there maybe the hotel bill or camp site fees to pay again I may
need foreign currency, maybe they take card or traveller cheques
perhaps.
After a little reflection you start to think the worse
what if I lose my money? they might retain my bank or credit card
details and keep charging it I will not know until I return and receive
my cards statement. Travellers cheque might be safer but there again I
could lose them or a thief could forge my signature well I will only
lose the value of the cheques.
These are all points that we have
to think about when working out our Travel Money obviously we need some
foreign currency to pay those small traveling expenses which arise like
the train ticket, taxi tips etc but also consider travelers cheque they
are safer than cash and if lost or stolen can be replaced within 24
hours anywhere in the world. |
